A Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine

Following more than 3 Decades, Sacred Heart and Our Lady of Guadalupe Churches are once again, one Parish. Operating as Sacred Heart-Guadalupe Parish. The vision for the PROMESO (Promise), Preserving Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine is to make critical structural repairs and interior restoration as well as establish a Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine, becoming the only one of its kind in the urban core of the KC-St. Joseph Catholic Diocese.

This new designation would allow for Jesus Christ and his Blessed Mother, known to the Mexican people as Our Lady of Guadalupe, to be physically adored during expanded public hours. In addition, restrictions would be lifted to accommodate all with marriage ceremonies, quinceanera’s, anniversaries and baptisms in a Catholic Church.
